Design to Margins​
Design-to-the-Margins (DTM) framework focused on the impact of systems on communities on the margins. This framework centers the experiences, needs, wisdom, and solutions of the people who are most impacted by systemic inequities. This lens requires that the burden be placed on the system to enact changes, rather than relying on individual actions, or the emotional labor of the people who are most impacted.

Transformative Leadership
Unique approach centering collective learning and intentional action. Developing transformative leaders who understand the complexities of the organizational ecosystems they lead and who are committed to community responsive decision making are able to shift their organizations’ systems and cultures to align with the needs of the communities they serve.

Healing Centered
Healing-informed approach facilitates conversations that aim to foster growth, learning, and evolution throughout an organization’s ecosystem. We center communities most impacted by systemic harm, and work to honor them through each step of the process.

Organizational Health
DEB-Centered model of organizational health is rooted in design-to-the-margins and equity-centered design practices. A healthy institution working toward equity is aligned in purpose and values, is responsive to community demands, and builds a culture of accountability. These principles are key to mitigating the replication of oppressive systems both internally and externally.
